Self Defense Program: WhACk (War Against Crime) was conducted on 15th July 2017 at KYP Residential College, Tanjung Lumpur. The program was organized by Student Development Center as to create awareness on the importance of self-defense among students.

A total of sixty six (66) female students of Diploma in Early Childhood Education attended the program. The activities carried out in this program were briefings on sexual crimes, and techniques to escape (when being attacked) presented by the Malaysian International Taekwondo Federation (MITF) representative. In addition to that, there were also demonstrations on taekwondo martial arts by MITF students.

The responses given by the participants were encouraging since they participated actively in all activities. It is hoped that, the program is able to equip the KYP students with knowledge and techniques on self-defense as to face today’s challenging world.
