On 9th December 2016, a Tahlil Recitation ceremony was conducted at level 2, Kolej Yayasan Pahang. The ceremony was meant to pray and appreciate KYP staff who have returned to our creator.  The ceremony was attended by approximately 50 KYP staff.

On 22nd November 2016, a brief ceremony was conducted for the family of Allahyarhamah Salmi Kamaruddin and Allahyarham Ustaz Syed Abdul Razaq Syed Isa. YAB Chief Minister of Pahang, Dato’ Sri DiRaja Hj Adnan Bin Hj. Yaakob was kind to dedicate his time for the family members.

The Passing of a MURABBI

Al Fadhil Ustaz Syed Abdul Razaq Bin Syed Isa has returned to Allah SWT on 20th November 2016, Sunday, 1.05 a.m at Hospital Tengku Ampuan Afzan, Kuantan Pahang. He was one of the dedicated religious lecturers at Kolej Yayasan Pahang.

A colourful deepavali celebration was organized by Student Development Centre, Kolej Yayasan Pahang on 2nd November 2016 at Rimbunan Café-KYP Advanced Skills, Kubang Buaya. Rangoli Dewali is chosen as the theme to KYP Deepavali celebration as to reflect the colourful event and the ideas of happiness, joyful and warmth.

A KYP – UiTM Diploma Show was held on 18th & 19th October 2016 at KYP Indera Mahkota Campus. The exhibition held at the Main Hall was organized by Faculty of Creative Arts, Heritage, & Tourism (FCAHT) with the theme ‘IDEA’s 14th’ and officiated by KYP Vice President Academic, Puan Nor Aishah Binti Hashim.

KYP lost one of its students in a road accident on 27th October 2016. Wani Afiqah bt Azmi, a Diploma in Tourism Management student in Semester 5, was involved in a road accident on the highway. She was on her way back to her hometown when the accident occurred.

Competencies to Success!

An entrepreneur has to be competent in managing and running a business. With that in mind, a seminar entitled Competencies for Entrepreneurs was held on 20th October 2016, organized by KYP Business Link and Commercialization (BLC) department. The seminar was conducted at KYP Taman Gelora Campus and these are collaborations between Kolej Yayasan Pahang (KYP) and SME Corp Malaysia, Suruhanjaya Koperasi Malaysia, Majlis Amanah Rakyat (MARA), as well as Dewan Perdagangan Islam Malaysia (DPIM).
